Quozl went to the DECUS Symposium in
Sydney during March 2001. Dan Shearer was on the schedule to present
a provocatively titled paper "Avoiding Microsoft Systems with
Enterprise-Scale Free Software". However, Dan was unwell and
could not attend. There were a few people who turned up anyway, so
Quozl decided to write and present a paper of the same title for the
next day of the conference.
